Booking Details
Bookings are made Saturday to Saturday with arrival after 2.30pm and departure by 10.30am.
Short breaks can be arranged during the low season, please contact the owners for further details and pricing.
Last minute bookings are also available, again please ring for availability.
1. Holiday Confirmation and payment
· A holiday booking form will be sent to the holidaymaker. This must be completed and signed by the applicant who must be over 18 years of age. · When returning the booking form a non-refundable deposit of £50 is required, which secures the booking. · The balance of the rental charge must be paid 4 weeks (28 days) prior to the commencement of the holiday. · For last minute holidays and short breaks, the full cost of the rental charge must be sent with the booking form.
2. Cancellation by the Holiday Maker
· The holiday maker should inform the owner in writing of any intention to cancel the holiday. · Bookings cancelled within 4 weeks will only be refunded if the cottage can be re-let. · If the cottage is re-let, monies received will be refunded, less the deposit within 2 weeks after the re-let holiday has taken place. · No refunds will be given on short break holidays. · Holiday cancellation insurance is not provided. You are recommended to take out independent insurance.
3. Cancellation by the Owner
· If the holiday has to be cancelled by the owner due to circumstances beyond their control, a full refund will be given.
4. Responsibilities of the Holiday Maker
· The number of people staying in the cottage must not exceed the number of people on the booking form. · The holiday maker must keep the property and all the furniture, utensils, equipment, fixtures and fittings in or on the property in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday. Any breakages or damage must be reported. · If the behaviour of the holiday makers are deemed unacceptable, the owners reserve the right to ask the guests to leave without any refund. · The owners or their representatives retain the right of access to the property at any reasonable time. · The owners will endeavour to carry out everything possible to ensure that an enjoyable and successful holiday takes place. Should a problem occur, please telephone the owner who will take reasonable steps to resolve the problem where ever possible. |
